For the 2026/27 season, Keresley Colts have joined forces with Nuneaton RFC through a clustered Colts squad, bringing players from both clubs together to create more opportunities, strengthen numbers and ensure our lads can continue playing the game they love. By working together, Keresley and Nuneaton are building a pathway that gives young players the opportunity to develop, enjoy their rugby and take their next steps towards senior rugby.

Although we represent two proud clubs, we are building one squad, one team and one rugby family. Our aim is to give every player the opportunity to wear their colours with pride, make friendships across both clubs and be part of something bigger than themselves.

We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment where players can continue to develop their skills, fitness and understanding of the game, while enjoying the friendships, camaraderie and team spirit that rugby is all about.

Our Colts squad is full of character. From the ever-committed to the permanently injury-prone, the lads all bring something different to the group. Together, they make a team that represents the heart and future of both Keresley RFC and Nuneaton RFC.

For us, it isn’t just about winning rugby matches. It’s about developing players, building confidence and resilience, creating friendships and giving young men a place where they can enjoy their rugby and hopefully build a lifelong love for the game.

The Colts play an important role within both clubs, bridging the gap between youth and senior rugby. Many senior players have come through this pathway, and every new Colts season gives another group of young players the opportunity to follow in their footsteps.

With the support of our dedicated coaches, volunteers and parents from both clubs, we are working together to create an environment where players feel supported, valued and encouraged to reach their potential, both on and off the pitch.

Whether it’s chasing league titles, turning up on those cold, wet and muddy days, battling through tough games, celebrating together after a win or simply having a laugh with your mates off the pitch, the Colts give everything they have.

We know the journey isn't always straightforward. Numbers fluctuate, injuries happen and challenges come along, but that is exactly why working together matters. By clustering Keresley and Nuneaton, we are creating more opportunities for our players to keep turning up, pulling on a shirt and enjoying the game alongside their mates.

Because this is about more than the next match or the next season. It’s about making sure our young players have a place in rugby, a team to belong to and a pathway they can be proud of.

They are more than just a rugby team.

They are a family.

And they are a massive part of the future of Keresley RFC and Nuneaton RFC.
